Monday, June 20, 2005 Grrrrrr...
18th June: Blast! I went out wtih one of my college mates today and when I headed back in the evening, the darn train was 3-4 rides late. Can you imagine dat?! The train was suppose to have made 3-4 trips and it didnt turn up at all. The amount of people waiting were tremendous. Talk about efficiency of the public transport! Bah... it's soooo not efficient and not to mention punctual. The amount of people hovering around the station was enough to kill. It was peak time to head back from the mall... and they can afford to miss 3-4 trips of service. Upon arrival of the train, the people started pushing and shoving one another to get into the train. Boy, was dat a nightmare! There was a gap between the train entrance and the platform..and with people pushing and squeezing, I hardly could balance myself! Thank goodness I didnt get pushed into dat stupid big gap! I hate dat kind of condition where people push and push and I can't even control my balance. I can really imagine if there was a stampede. The situation in the train was worse. People's back kissing each other's back. Ohhhh boy, I wouldnt wanna have myself in dat situation ever again. Ever. I could hardly breathe, let alone move.. and people was still pushing to get into the train. Gosh.. luckilly I didnt faint or something cos there wasnt really enough air-con in the train to accomodate such amount of people. Gee, how I wished I could wait for another train but time was running out. It was rather late (for me) and I was kinda alone. Anyway, I was also kinda being sucked into this whole thing.. people around me were pushing and there's no way I could get out but to go with the flow.. Arrghh..thank goodness I was in that train for only a few stations. I can hardly wait to switch comuters. Thank goodness too I was still in one piece. There was a gang of guys and I think they are just taking opportunities to get in touch with other people..they are pretty happy to be in such situation... you get what I mean?...Grrrr...
