I remember when I was little, my mum told me, dont ever marry a person who's a scrooge if not you'll suffer the same fate just like me. Firstly, when you're dating with them, they will treat you like a princess. But after you married them, the story changes into something.. you know, usually worse. (as the story goes.) Then mum continues saying, if they dont even treat you like a princess when you're not yet married, chances are, they never will. Cos after marriage is usually a downfall from there. And also if they dont even buy you things when you're not married, chances are, they never will.. just like your dad! I sheepishly smiled at her. I didnt get wad she was saying last time as I was still, you know.. little. Prolly she was pissed with my dad.. well, still is on the buying things part and also one big issue; holidays. Hahaha. But dont get me wrong, my dad and mum are still the best parents but sometimes.. poor me who has to endure some earful stuffs when things just dont seem to get the way they want it to be. But since, I'm older now, and also have seen part of the world, I kinda agree with wad my mum said. 'Dont ever become a housewife when you get married. Become free maid and free cook. No pay. No shopping. No gratitude.' Hmmm. I wonder why women are succumbed to such treatments by men?
I'm so glad I do not live in past centuries where women were being pushed around and being treated un-nicely. It's because the past women has endured it all and they said, enough is enough. Hahaha. Which is why, it's common that women have their careers these days. Hmm, this is a very debatable topic as we always have debates on this topic during my high skool days. Not the playfully debating kind. Debates with substances like against other schools. I also hear this debatable topic over the radio, tv and internet.
I smell a war. Haha. In fact, a war has just happened. Wth.
